Sharpie
Quick-drying permanent markers that write on almost any surface.
About Sharpie
When a marker has to write on almost anything and not budge, the Sharpie Fine is the default. The solvent-based ink dries fast and stays fast on plastic, metal, foil, glass, glossy card and paper. The Fine tip covers the broadest range of everyday permanent-marking tasks; the Ultra-Fine goes to 0.2mm for small labels and detail; the Chisel flattens for broad strokes.
Sharpie markers were introduced in 1964 and became the standard for a reason: the formula is consistent, the cap seal reliable, and the ink genuinely permanent. They are the workshop, warehouse and label-everything marker. For art and creative work, the range extends to Sharpie pens (water-based, fine and ultra-fine) and the Metallic markers for writing on dark surfaces.
The limitation of solvent-based ink is that it bleeds through thin paper. For notebook work or journaling, the Sharpie Pen (water-based) is the practical alternative. For surfaces, metal, plastic, glass - the standard Sharpie is unmatched at the price.
