About Staedtler
Staedtler has been making writing instruments in Nuremberg since 1835 - one of the longest-running pen makers in the world. The discipline that history suggests shows up in the detail: a 0.3mm metal-clad tip that resists splaying, an HB pencil core consistent enough for examination boards to specify by name, and a Lumocolor marker line engineered for overhead projectors decades before digital replaced them.
The Triplus Fineliner is the product most people mean when they say "a good fineliner". The triangular barrel reduces hand fatigue over long sessions; the tip is protected by a dry-safe mechanism that keeps it usable even after days uncapped. It is the fineliner teachers and planners reach for first, and the reason Staedtler is the brand stocked most deeply here.
The Noris pencil is a classroom staple across Australia - strong core, consistent HB grade, lacquer that does not peel. The Lumocolor range covers permanent, non-permanent and washable variants for glass, OHP film and whiteboards. Across every range, the emphasis is on reliability over novelty.
